WB team meets TN Planning Commission member for economic dev
Chennai, June 27 (UNI) As part of its exercise to study the economic review of states, a World Bank (WB) team today met the State Planning Commission Vice-chairman Prof M Naganathan.
The World Bank's findings would be used for the state's economic development during the 11th five-year plan.
State Planning Commission full time member Prof S Srinivasan, members K Lakshmikanthan Bharathi, Prof P Jegadeesan, Ms Tamizharuvi Manian, Dr Sunidhi Solomon and Member Secretary Ms Smita Nagaraj participated in the meeting.
World Bank's Chief Economist for the South Asia region Dr Santhayanan Devarajan, senior economist Mogan Nagarajan and Sekar Shah participated on behalf of the World Bank, an official release said here today.
