Two young girls, including minor, raped in 2 seperate incidents

Mumbai, June 27 (UNI) Two young girls, including a minor, were allegedly raped by six persons in two separate incidents during the last 24 hours in the metropolis and one person has been nabbed in this connection.

Police today said in one incident, a 14-year-old girl was kidnapped from Uttar Pradesh by Bidlal Yadav (21), Guddu Vinodkumar Chourasiya (21) and Mustaf, who confined her in a hotel room in the eastern suburb of Kurla since May one.

Threatening to kill her elder brother, they allegedly raped her on several occasions. Yesterday, she however managed to escape from their custody and lodged a complaint against the trio at the Powai police station, police said and added that following which, they have arrested Yadav, while Chourasiya and Mustaf are absconding.

In another incident, an 18-year-old girl was allegedly raped by three persons -- Ajaykumar Lallan Gupta (22), Mohammed Ranjan Ali (21) and Ajay Mistry (20) -- in her hut which was situated off Malhar Kulkarni Marg in the western suburb of Borivali yesterday.

A case has been registered against the absconding trio and further investigations are on, police added.
