TDP condemns arrest of nuns

Hyderabad, June 27 (UNI) Telugu Desam Party General Secretary M Renuka today condemned the arrest of four nuns from the premises of Sri Venkateswara Ruia Government Hospital in Tirupati on charges of alleged proselytism.

Talking to reporters here, she termed as 'politically-motivated'' the dharna by the BJP youth wing.

She claimed that the nuns, who were known for rendering social service, had only consoled the patients yesterday and offered to perform 'healing prayers' for them.
