Sarangi meets Pravin in Arthur Road Jail

Mumbai, June 27 (UNI) Pravin Mahajan's wife Sarangi today met him in Arthur Road Jail for the second time since his arrest in the shootout case of his elder brother and BJP General Secretary Pramod Mahajan on April 22.

Sarangi alongwith advocate Nandkumar Rajurkar, who is representing Pravin today, visited Arthur Road Jail at around 1015 hrs and they had a dialogue for 15 minutes.

Mr Rajurkar confirmed that they had gone to meet Pravin, but declined to divulge what transpired between them.

Pravin was arrested on April 22, after firing three rounds at Pramod Mahajan. Initially he was booked for attempt to murder case.

Pramod had succumbed to injuries on May three in Hinduja Hospital, thereafter, police altered the charges and he was booked under section 302 (murder) of Indian Penal Code (IPC).

Prosecution is likely to file chargesheet against Pravin tomorrow in Bhoiwada court.
