Rupee upward trend by 5 paise, closes at Rs 46.34/36/perUS Dollar

Mumbai, June 27: Indian currency today ruled better against the US Dollar as the Rupee closed a high of 46.34/36 against the per US dollar compared to the previous close of 46.38/39/USD on Monday, said a exchange market trader.

RBI fixed the Reference Rate at Rs 46.36 per US dollar against Rs 46.34 per USD on previous day.

Rupee also fared well against other currencies: Rupee vs sterling was at Rs 84.27, Rupee vs Euro was at 58.18 and Rupee vs Yen was at Rs 39.74.
