Official held for bribery

Hyderabad, Jun 27 (UNI) A senior assistant of District Educational Office in Nizamabad was caught red-handed by the Anti-Corruption Bureau(ACB) Officials at his office today while accepting a bribe of Rs 3,000 from the complainant.

According to a release from the ACB, Boina Venu demanded the bribe from the complainant for an official favour.

He was arrested. Venu would be produced before the Principal Special Judge for ACB cases here, it added.
