JACC to organise a workshop on AIDS in Ranchi
Ranchi, Jun 27 (UNI) Jharkhand Aids Control Committee (JACC) will organise a workshop on July 10 to create awareness about the danger of AIDS.
Presiding over a meeting held here, All India Radio station director B K Shukla said the people were still unaware of the killer disease despite repeated efforts by the government to enlighten about it.
Breifing about the workshop, Ms Renuka Tiwary, joint director of JACC said it would be organised with the aim to launch the anti-aids campaign more vigorously in the state.
Public relations department would open information centres during 'Shrawni mela' in Deoghar and Basukinath areas of state.
The department will open 22 information centres in Deoghar and four in Basukinath of Dumka district, according to an oficial release here.
