IIA develops industry-oriented software
Kanpur, June 27 (UNI) Indian Industries Association (IIA) has developed a unique software to help new entrepreneurs establish units in any part of Uttar Pradesh without any hurdle.
Talking to UNI here today, IIA president Tarun Kshetrapal said although the government was committed to industrial development on a large scale, information gap as well as administrative problems were forcing entrepreneurs drop their ideas of investing in UP.
''The software -- developed on the instructions of the state government -- features all kinds of information to alleviate problems faced by industrialists. Senior officials upto the chief secretary level would be available on-line to offer help,'' he said.
The software would provide information about infrastructure, raw material, availability of man power, environment problems, registration of industries and marketing facilies.
Mr Kshetrapal also informed its trial would start from June 30.
The system would be displayed at Lucknow on July 22 and after the satisfaction of senior UP officials, it would be handed over to UP Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav and Uttar Pradesh Development Council (UPDC) Chairman Amar Singh.
