Fire in Noida software company

Noida, June 27 (UNI) Computers and other equipment worth lakhs of rupees were allegedly damaged in a fire that broke out in the premises of E Biz dot com software company this evening in sector 10 here.

Director of Fire Services R P Gupta said the fire, which broke out due to a short circuit at around 1930 hrs, was contained by six fire tenders. Computers and software worth lakhs of rupees were feared to have damaged in the fire, he added.

The Director of the company, however, put the damages at crores of rupees.

E Biz dot com is involved in manufacture of software for computer education and is also engaged in imparting online computer education.
