EX-MLA Kadhirbapu passes away

Jalna, Maharashtra, June 27 (UNI) Veteran Congressman and former MLA Kadhir Deshmukh, popularly known as Kadirbapu died of heart attack at his residence at Mapegaon in Partur tehsil of this district today.

He was 60.

He was a member of Maharashtra Legislative Assembly from Partur constituency of Jalna district during 1985-90.

The late MLA was also Chairman of the Jalna District Central Co-operative Bank as well as President of District Congress for sometime, sources close to the late MLA said.

Funeral procession of the late MLA will begin at 1000 hrs tomorrow from his residence at Mapegaon.
