Eleven injured in group clash at Beed
Beed, Maharashtra, June 27 (UNI) As many as eleven people were injured in a clash between two groups over a land dispute at Vadgaon in Kaij tehsil of this district today.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Pralhad Sonawane told UNI two groups headed by Prabhakar Nimbalkar and Ganpya Pawar badly assaulted each other over a land dispute.
An offence has been registered against 15 people in connection with the clash at the Yusuf Vadgaon police station u/s 147, 148,149 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
All the injured have been admitted to Swami Ramanand Tirth Hospital at Ambejogai, police sources said.
