Narsinghpur, MP, June 27 (UNI) Amidst a brewing controversy over the exclusion of former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru's chapter from school syllabus in Madhya Pradesh, a demand to include a chapter on Loknayak Jaiprakash Narayan was raised here.

Informing about the resolutions passed at the two-day Misabandi convention, which concluded yesterday, convenor Kailash Soni said a demand was raised to include a chapter on Jaiprakash Narayan in the syllabus besides celebrating the Loknayak's birth anniversary as Sampoorn Kranti Diwas.

A resolution was also passed demanding inclusion of chapter on Emergency in the history books along with the history of freedom struggle of India.

The convention decided to constitute a MP Misabandi Association and Mr Soni was nominated its state convenor. The Misabandi Association would be constituted at the district level and regional level.
