Capital experiences pre-monsoon showers

New Delhi, June 27 : Heavy pre-monsoon showers lashed the national capital this morning giving relief from days of oppressive heat and humidity.

The downpour, which started at 0730 hrs, brought down temperature by an appreciably level, Met department said.

Monsoon was normally expected to reach the capital by June 29.
