Baba Amte's Son and Daughter-in-law falicitated'

Mumbai, June 27 (UNI) Dr Prakash Amte and Dr Mandatai Amte, son and daughter-in-law of renowed social activist Baba Amte, respectively has been facilitated by Mastek, International software solution provider for their selfless services in tribal area of Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra.

According to an official release here yesterday, Dr Prakash and Dr Mandatai Amte were felicitated in a simple function recently held at St Andrew auditorium at Bandra. They were honoured for their great work to uplift the poor, needy and socially deprived.

The aim of the award was not only to recognise their work, but also to inspire others to follow their footsteps.

Earlier recipients of the award include Dr Arun Ranade of Mumbai for his many activities, and Dr Abhay Bang and Dr Rani Bang of the NGO SEARCH for their work to improve the living conditions of the poor people of Gadchiroli.
