Audit report found incorrect
Patna, Jun 27 (UNI) Bihar state vigilance investigation bureau today submitted its final report before the designated judge Ramnivas Prasad in a case of alleged corruption and misapropriation of funds.
The case was registered in 1983.
According to the FIR as per audit report of 1977-80 more than Rs. 2.38 crores were withdrawn from treasury against Gaya district education superintendent. No accounts were found against the withdrawal, audit report noted.
Altogather six people were made accused in the FIR including two the then district education superintendents- Krishnakant Sinha and Md Zubair.
The bureau in its investigation did not find any misapropriation of fund though some violation of financial rules were detected. The bureau had not recomended for prosecution against any accused in its final report.
