ACC launches Help Centre in Goa

Panaji, June 27: Cement major the Associated Cement Companies Ltd (ACC) today announced the launch of an 'ACC Help Centre' in Goa, with the objective of advising and guiding all those who intend to construct their own house or are in the process of constructing one.

Talking to media persons at Margao in South Goa last night, ACC Regional Head (West and South) Arvind Pathak said that this centre, was launched in Goa after the successful launch of similar centres at other places such as Bangalore, Mangalore and Belgaum.

This new initiative will help our customers in building long-lasting and durable homes.

He said the centre would provide information and guidance to Goa based customers on construction practices in a simple and lucid manner on various home building-related procedures. This includes matters such as pre-construction worries on how much stamp duty needs to be paid or who might be the appropriate service provider or again how to estmate budget.

The centre would also assist customers even after the completion of construction in ensuring that the checks are made to ensure a long lasting and durable house.

Mr Pathak said customers can now also avail of certain specialised services like supervision during the slab casting on demand. A unique mobile unit 'Gruha Mithra', manned by a techical person, was also launched.
