About 20 to 25 per cent polling in U T so far

Pondicherry, June 27 (UNI) An estimated 20 to 25 per cent of over three lakh electorate had exercised their franchise in the first three hours of polling in the second phase of the three-phased local body elections in the Union Territory of Pondicherry today.

Polling was so far peaceful with no untoward incidents reported .

Elections to the Pondicherry and Ozhukarai municipalities and Villianur commune panchayats are being held today.
