Windies declare at 172 for 6, set 392 for India to win on final day

Basseterre, St Kitts, June 26 (UNI) West Indies declared their second innings on 172 for six setting India a target of 392 runs to win on the final day of the third Test here today.

A minimum of 87 overs will be bowled and a run rate of almost 4.5 per over would be required to reach the target.

Resuming at their overnight score of 113 for 4, West Indies batted for another eight overs in the morning session, adding 59 runs at the cost of two wickets in the process.

Darren Ganga remained not out on 66 off 75 balls that included six hits to the fence. Marlon Samuels also made a quick-fire 20 to set a challenging target.
