Three die in mishaps

Kottayam, Jun 26 : Three persons were killed in two separate road accidents last night.

Police here said two persons died when a car overturned and fell into a paddy field near the Medical College Hospital.

In the second incident, a person who was injured when a car overturned and fell into a ravine near Valanjankanam on the K K Road, succumbed at the Medical College Hospital.

The deceased were identified as Sajin (24) and P M Sanoj (24) of Kannur and Jose Thomas (Siby) (35) of Changanacherry who sustained injuries in the K K Road accident.

Three others were also injured in the accident. Two of them were admitted to the Medical College Hospital and the other at Kanjirappally Hospital.
