Surprise checks in West Godavari District

Eluru, Andhra Pradesh, Jun 26 (UNI) Two Sub-Inspectors and two Circle Inspectors have been charged with negligence in discharging their duties in charge memos issued by District Superintendent of Police.

SP Jaganmohan Reddy conducted a surprise check for over four hours and found that hotels and pawn shops had been kept open on National Highway Five under the juridiction of Bhimadolu and Ganapavaram police limits.

He immediately arrested four people from the hotels and pawn shops and then issued the charge memos to the policemen.
