Shahabuddin approaches High Court for treatment in AIIMS

Patna, June 26 (UNI) Incarcerated RJD MP Mohammad Shahabuddin today urged Patna High Court to direct the Bihar government for making arrangements for his proper treatment at AIIMS in New Delhi.

After hearing both sides, a single bench of Justice Chandramauli Kumar Prasad directed the state government to file its reply in this regard before July 3.

Earlier, counsel of the RJD MP informed the court that his client was not provided proper treatment inside Siwan Jail, and hence he should be transferred to AIIMS in New Delhi.
