RPF constable shot dead

Varanasi, June 26 (UNI) Unidentified criminals shot dead a Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable in Jasuri village of adjoining Chandauli district early today and decamped with jewellery kept in his house.

According to police, Jai Prakash Singh, an RPF constable posted at Mughalsarai railway station, was sleeping with his family, when over 10 criminals stormed into his house and shot him dead.

The criminals decamped with a box containing jewellery.
