Rain playing hide and seek

Kolkata, Jun 26 (UNI) Monsoon seems to be playing hide and seek since last few days with the people of Kolkata experiencing few spells of thundershowers.

The sky remained cloudy the entire day giving an impression of immediate thunderstorm. However, the weather was pleasant with a low humidity. At few places in the city it rained 'cats and dogs'whereas few places rainfall remained elusive.

The temperature has slashed down drastically, as the maximum temperature was recorded at 34 degree Celsius and the minimum was 26.9 degree Celsius.

However, MET officials have forecast a quick shower in the next few hours.
