Paramount Communications bags Rs 20 cr order

New Delhi, June 26 (UNI) Paramount Communications Ltd today announced it has bagged orders worth more than Rs 20 crore for the supply of specialised power distribution cables to a private power distribution group in the country.

This is the largest order bagged by the company against a single bid from the private distribution companies (Discoms).

These orders represent a major breakthrough for the company in the Power sector, which is the thrust area for the company, an official statetement said here.

Paramount is having a book position in excess of Rs 60 crore at the beginning of this month and order pipeline in excess of Rs 1 billion.

The company is executing its expansion project for setting up additional facilities for the manufacture of High Tension and Low Tension power cables with the successful closure of GDR for 15 million dollar.
