Palestinian group denies holding Israeli soldier

GAZA, June 26 (Reuters) A Palestinian militant group in the Gaza Strip today denied media reports that it was holding an Israeli soldier who was captured in a raid into Israel yesterday.

A spokesman for the Popular Resistance Committees, one of the groups which carried out the incursion, said it had no information about the soldier.
