Nisha Lagad tops in SSC exam from Aurangabad div

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, June 26 (UNI) Nisha Kailasrao Lagad of Dwarkadas Mantri Vidyalaya, Beed has topped in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exanmination in the Aurangabad division.

Ms lagad who has secured 724 marks out of 750 marks (96.53 per cent) also topped among the girls in the aurangabad division.

Dwarkadas Mantri vidyalaya of neighbouring Beed district has made an hattrick, when three of their girls appeared first second and third in the division, while Prerana Bhagwanrao Mane of the same high school stood second by securing 723 marks (96.40 per cent).

Prerana was also first among the backward class students in the division.

Another student of the Dwarkadas vidyalaya Pooja Kailasrao Lagad stood third in the division by obtaining 719 marks out of 750 (95.86 per cent).

As per the results announced by the State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Pune's board's Aurangabad division here today, out of 1,49,292 candidates appeared for the SSC examination from the division, 1,07,413 were passed in the examination, their passing percentage was 71.94 per cent in the division.
