Mulayam suffering from phobia: Cong
New Delhi, Jun 26 (UNI) The Congress today charged Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav with suffering from a"persecution phobia"that makes him think that the Union Government is harassing him or ignoring his state on some count or the other.
"To make some allegation or the other against the Centre has become his (Mulayam Singh's) modus operandi,"Congress Spokesman Rajeev Shukla said.
Describing as baseless, Mr Mulayam Singh's allegation that the Centre was preventing the infrastructure development of the state as evident by its attitude towards the Sahara Airlines, Mr Shukla said there was no vindictiveness on the part of the Centre."It is Mulayam Singh's own figment of imagination." "This is just antics of the Samajwadi Party leaders to make a baseless allegation against the Centre to be in the TV news,"he said and asked the UP Chief Minister to disclose what he was doing for the development of the State.
Mr Shukla pointed out except for four districts in Uttar Pradesh, including Etawah, Kannauj and Mainpur, no other district in the State had 24 hour electricity available.
