Moscow confirms death of four diplomats

Moscow, June 26 (UNI) Russian Foreign Ministry confirmed late this evening, the death of its four diplomats who were kidnapped in Baghdad, earlier this month.

''It is with great pain that we announce that the irremediable has apparently happened to the captured employees of the Russian embassy in Iraq, despite all the measures that were taken to free our people,'' a Foreign Ministry statement said.

Russia also demanded from the Iraqi government and the international coalition forces in Iraq to ''take all possible measures to ensure the killers be brought to justice.'' UNI XC SB KN2258
