Bangalore, June 26 (UNI) Following is a Summary of observations recorded by the weather office at 0830 hours here today: Monsoon was active over Coastal Karnataka, however weak over North Interior Karnataka. Rainfall occurred at a few places over Interior Karnataka.

Very heavy rainfall amounts(cm): Kumta, Karwar 14 each; Kollur 13.

Heavy rainfall amounts (cm): Bantwal, Ankola 12 each; Shirali 11; Bhatkal, Gerusoppa, Honavar, Bhagamandala 10 each; Dharmasthala, Puttur 9 each; Sulya, Mangalore, Panambur, Mangalore AP, Karkalat 8 each; Mulki, Subramanya, Kundapur, Siddapura, Sirsi, Yellapura 7 each.

Other Chief rainfall amounts (cm): Belthangadi, Udupi, Kammardi 6 each; Jagalbet, Joida, Siddapura (Uttara Kannada dt), Virajpet , Kalasa, Sringeri, Sakleshpura, Madikeri 5 each.

Forecast valid until Wednesday morning :Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at most places over Coastal Karnataka and at a few places over Interior Karnataka.
