JD(U) issues showcause notice to its 'erring' MLA

Patna, Jun 26 (UNI) JD(U) MLA Sunil Pandey was served a notice by his party for his alleged misbehaviour at a hotel here two days ago.

The party has asked him to clarify certain points within 10 days or else face disciplinary action.

Party state secretary general Upendra Singh Kushwaha told reporters today that he had been given 10 days ultimatum to reply the showcause notice.

''The party would be free to take an ex-parte decision if Mr Pandey did not respond to the showcause notice within the prescribed time limit,'' he added.
