HUDA changes auction guidelines for commercial sites

Chandigarh, Jun 26 (UNI) The Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) has modified guidelines for conducting auction of commercial sites.

However, these revised guidelines would not apply to the auction in the City Centre of Gurgaon, Faridabad and Panchkula.

A HUDA spokesman said these guidelines had been forwarded to all Administrators, Estate Officers (EO) and Assistant Estate Officers of the Authority for compliance.

He said they had been asked to initiate certain pre-requisite steps before publication of notice for auction.

Out of total vacant commercial sites, the concerned EO would list out the number of sites to be put to auction, taking into consideration the feasibility of sale of shopping sites in the area and market demand.

The lists so prepared would be got approved from the Zonal Administrator, HUDA. The list of sites proposed to be put to auction would be sent to Superintendent Engineer with a request to confirm that the development works in the area have been completed and possession of the site could be offered immediately.

He would also obtain the confirmation from concerned District Town Planner that the demarcation plan or zoning plan of the sites have also been approved.

The case of fixation of price would be moved simultaneously and reserve price would be got finalised from the competent authority.
