Heavy rain likely in south Gujarat in next 48 hours

Surat, Jun 26 (UNI) District flood control room here informed that heavy rain is expected in the south Gujarat region in next 48 years.

Quoting a weather forecast report from Gandhinagar, the flood cell officials said, ''heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely to occur at a few places over south Gujarat region, Daman and Dadra, Nagar Haveli in next 48 hours''.

The rainfall recorded in different talukas in Surat till 0800 hrs today is, Choryasi-22 cm, Uchchal-2 cm and Olpad-2 cm, district flood control room informed.
