Hansa MRUC launch guide to Indian markets

New Delhi,June 26 (UNI) Hansa Research and Media Research Users Council (MRUC) together today unveiled a report on consumers and markets in the form of a book called 'Guide to Indian Markets 2006'.

The key purpose of the guide is to provide to a larger audience, the valuable information that is available in the Indian Readership Survey (IRS) in a succinct form.

The first part , Consumer&Market Trends , proposes new ways of looking at the Indian consumer while providing an overview of trends in consumer behaviour. The book contains five chapters dealing with myriad issues like product usage and rural consumerism.

The second part , Ready Reckoner, provides a bird's eye view of the demographics, product and media consumption pattern.

Commenting on the launch Hansa Research Associate VP and IRS head Suresh Nimbalkar said, ''We are proud to launch this book since we think that all those interested in the Indian consumer and the Indian economy will find a wealth of information and trends in this treasure house".

MRUC General Manager Sabina solomon said ''we believe that the perspectives presented in the guide will help readers gain valuable insights and it would be heartening if these spark off a few thoughts in new directions among decison makers''.
