Five bandits arrested in Madhya Pradesh
Jabalpur, June 26 (UNI) Five bandits were arrested in connection with the Rs 1.25 lakh robbery at a businessman's house in Katni district on June 12, police said today.
Katni Superintendent of Police (SP) Dilip Kumar Arya said five masked robbers broke into Mr Chandramohan Agrawal's house on the might of June 12 and decamped with jewellery worth Rs one lakh besides Rs 25,000 in cash.
The robbers stabbed and injured Mr Agrawal before fleeing.
A police team led by City SP Rajesh Raghuvanshi started investigating the matter.
Omkar Singh alias Bablu (Umaria), Ramesh Baiga alias Gopal (Shahdol), Gyanendra Singh Vishwakarma alias Bablu (Shahdol), Rajesh alias Sagar (Mumbai) and Narayan Sahu (Mumbai) were arrested yesterday.
Police recovered the amount and jewellery from the accused.
