Eight people get lifer in a murder case

Patna, Jun 26 (UNI) A Fast Track court of Patna today awarded life imprisonment to eight people in a murder case.

Judge Rampravesh Chaubey found all the eight accused guilty of committing the murder of their co-villager Yogendra Singh.

According to the charges, victim Yogendra Singh, a resident of Baurahi village under Dhararua police station of Patna district, received gun shot injuries caused by the convicts while he was guarding his mango orchard on May 23 in 1982.

Singh succumbed to his wounds the next day.

The reason behind the incident was stated to be old enmity.
