Doctor shot dead in Bihar

Sasaram, Jun 26 (UNI) Unidentified criminals shot dead a physician and injured a nurse at Ratanpur village under Nokha police station in the district.

Police sources said criminals attacked a clinic run by Dr Pradip Singh late last night and opened fire resulting in the death of the doctor. The injured nurse Indu Devi was shifted to a local hospital in critical condition, sources added.

Efforts are on to identify and arrested the criminals although the motive behind the murder is yet to be ascertained.
