Bomb explosion inside local court premises

Darbhanga, Jun 26 : A panicky situation prevailed inside the local civil court premises when criminals opened fire and exploded bombs during the production of dreaded outlaws Rakesh Kumar alias Chunnu Thakur and Sudhir Singh today.

Police Superintendent of Darbhanga O N Bhaskar said the miscreants resorted to unlawful activities as soon as the criminals were being brought under police custody for their production before the court. Nobody was, however, injured in the incident.

A motorcycle, a pistol, three bombs and other firearms were recovered from the spot. An intensive search operation was on to nab criminals after sealing boundaries of the district borders.
