Arrested HNLC ultras remanded to ten days police custody
Shillong, Jun 26 (UNI) The Chief Judicial Magistrate today remanded the ten arrested members of the outlawed Hynniewtrep National Liberation Council militant outfit to ten days police custody.
Recently, Tripura police nabbed the ultras from Hirachura tea garden under Kailaswar police station in Tripura after they crossed over to India from Bangladesh.
Meanwhile, a local daily here quoting police said the ultras deserted the camps in Bangladesh as they had nothing to do except working as labourers in the betel nuts plantation to earn their livelihood.
