Ambika Cotton to expand capacity by 10,080 spindles

New Delhi, June 26 (UNI) Ambika Cotton Mills Ltd today announced it will expand its capacity by another 10,080 spindles by September this year.

The company has also completed its expansion scheme of 14,112 spindles for manufacture of compact yarn, an official statement said.

It would further expand its capacity by 43,200 spindles by September 2007, of which 33,600 spindles would be meant for manufacture of compact yarn and 9,600 spindles for doubled yarn.

The expansion schemes are implemented under Textile Upgradation Fund (TUF) scheme.

The firm has also expanded its wind capacity by 6.4 MW to 13 MW.
