5 recommended for preventive detention in AP

Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, Jun 26 (UNI) The authorities have recommended the preventive detention of five persons in view of the local body elections scheduled to be held on July two in the district.

The preventive detention of the three Telugu Desam and two Congress activists were recommended to the District Magistrate following their 'violent' and 'unruly' behaviour, police sources here today said.
