34 injured in bus accident

Khargone, MP, June 26 (UNI) Thirty-four people were injured, eight of them seriously, when their bus overturned and fell into a gorge near Jhirnya tehsil in this district, police said today.

The bus was heading from Pal to Bheekangaon when the incident occurred yesterday.

The bus was being driven by bus owner Rajendra Pal Singh Bhatia alias Pappu, who had come to check the bus. Rajendra made the driver seat beside him and started driving the vehicle.

Eight seriously injured were admitted to government hospital here, while the others were discharged after administering primary treatment.
