2120 posts to be filled in J
Srinagar, June 26 (UNI) About 2000 posts of constables would soon be filled in the Jammu and Kashmir Police Department, official sources said today.
With this, two more battalions would be raised in the Indian Reserve Police (IRP) in the state.
Besides, 120 posts of followers would be filled, they added.
The sources said the constables would be recruited in the IRP and two more battalions (11th and 12th) thus raised.
They said the minimum qualification required for the post of constable has been fixed at matric.
