20 coin-operated ticket vending machines installed on CR

Mumbai, June 26 (UNI) Central Railway's Mumbai division has installed 20 coin-operated ticket vending machines at various suburban stations for the benefit of commuters.

The Chattrapati Shivaji terminus (CST) has four machines, Byculla one, Dadar - two, Kurla - two, Lokmanya Tilak - one, Ghatkopar - two, Bhandup - two, Mulund - two, Kalyan - three and Vadala - one, a release here said.

These machines will help the commuters stand in long queues at the booking windows. More machines will be installed at other suburban stations also.

Steps to operate these coin-operated ticket vending machines are to select the desired destination, insert exact change of the value of the tickets using coins of Re one and Rs five.

In addition to these, 165 coupon validating machines (CVM) have also been provided at 48 stations for the use of commuters. More CVM's will be provided at other stations also, the release added.
