Unidentified persons rob diamonds, cash worth Rs 30 lakh

Surat, June 25 (UNI) Some unidentified persons today allegedly looted diamonds and cash worth Rs 30 lakh from a diamond cutting unit here.

The Mahidharpura police station sources said the complainant, who is the owner of the diamond cutting unit, stated that diamonds and cash worth Rs 30 lakh were allegedly looted from his unit here in the morning.

The complainant alleged that a security guard and an office boy are believed to be involved in the loot, as the duo are missing after the incident, sources said.

A case has been registered and further investigations are on, sources added.
