Two people killed as tent collapses

Jaipur, June 25 (UNI) Two people were killed and 18 injured when a tent collapsed following heavy downpour here today, sources said.

The incident happened after the religious discourse of Sadhvi Rithambhara which began yesterday at Surajnagar Maidan under the Jawahar Nagar Thana. The discourse was over at 1830 hrs this evening but heavy rains forced 20 people to take shelter under a tent, which collapsed under excessive water which collected on it.

All the injured were admitted to the Sawai ManSingh Hospital.
