Suicide of married woman turned farce murder registered, one arres

Akola, June 25 (UNI) Suicide of a married woman turned out to be a farce in the city and police registered a case of murder and arrested one person yesterday following the post mortem report that revealed the lady was strangled to death.

The deceased - Surekha Rajesh Waghmare of Mochipura in Akot locality of the city was found dead in her house on June 14 night.

Her husband was out of the house at the time of the incident, police said.

Vilas Ambadas Mande of nearby village Ugwa visited the house of the deceased and her mother before the incident. Earlier he had requested the deceased to allow him to marry her cousin but the deceased had refused.

On the basis of complaint filed by her husband and his mother-in-law, the police registered the offence of murder and arrested accused Vilas Mane.

Earlier the incident had appeared as suicide but the deceased's husband and mother-in-law claimed foul play in the incident and after the post mortom report the doubt turned out to be true following which the accused has been arrested in charges of murder.
