One nabbed for minister kin's murder
Sagar, MP, June 25 (UNI) One person has been arrested in connection with the murder of Madhya Pradesh Cooperatives Minister Gopal Bhargava's paternal cousin Rajendra at Garhakota in the minister's assembly constituency Rehli, police said.
All three accused are brothers and the one apprehended is Jaideep while Makhan and Yashwant are absconding.
Mr Rajendra was gunned down near Garhakota Resthouse last evening. Sources said he reached the place for resolving a dispute.
A contract for the Garhakota-Bhujaura road was awarded to one Swapnil Bajaj, who subcontracted the project to Makhan and the duo disputed over payment. Mr Rajendra was acquainted with them. An argument during mediation led to Makhan discharging his weapon at him.
