Man strangulates brother over land dispute
Vadodara, June 25 (UNI) A 42-year-old man today strangulated his brother to death in Panchla village of Naswadi taluka after the former allegedly staked his claim over a piece of agricultural land.
Police said the accused, Balu Bhil, lost his temper when he saw his brother Mukund (46) and his 25-year-old son Mukesh sowing seeds in the disputed land in the afternoon. Following a heated argument between the two brothers, Balu strangulated Mukund, who reportedly died on the spot.
After the cold-blooded murder of his elder brother in the presence of his son, Balu surrendered before the Naswadi police and confessed to the crime. Further investigations are on, police added.
