India scores 64 for one at tea

Basseterre, St Kitts, June 24 (UNI) India were 64 for one at tea losing the wicket of Virender Sehwag after West Indies were all out for 581 in their first innings of the third test.

India started their innings with the first target of scoring 382 and avoiding follow on. Pedro Collins and Jerome Taylor bowled with a lot of fire consistently getting good lift off the pitch.

Sehwag survived a loud shout of lbw on a no ball of Collins.

Collins was unlucky once again as Sehwag was dropped at gully by Ganga on 12.

Sehwag was finally sent back by Collymore when a delivery that pitched on the middle stump and moved away a bit to square up Sehwag and carried an edge to Brain Lara at second slip. Sehwag made 31 and India lost their first wicket on 64.

Earlier, West Indies' lower order collapsed with the last 5 wickets falling for just 19 runs. Harbhajan Singh took four of the last five wickets finishing the innings with a figure of 5 for 147 while Chanderpaul remained not out on a gritty 97.
