Four persons including Headmaster, die in truck accident

Dehradun, June 25 (UNI) Four people including a Headmaster was killed and driver severely injured when a truck fell into 200 metre deep gorge at Rishikesh on Saturday,the police said.

The accident occurred when the truck driver, in a bid to save a speeding jeep, lost control and fell into the gorge near Umda village, killing instantly Headmaster of Faldakot Primary School Amar Singh Payal, Rudra Bahadur, Kiran and Govind and seriously injuring driver Sishpal. He was admitted in SPS Government Hospital.
